I performed as both a Clown and Magician until the birth of my second daughter. When I returned to performing, I started out as a Hollywood B-Western Singing Cowboy similar to that of Roy Rogers. Gradually, I found myself performing more and more for younger audiences and that Clown inside just kept coming out. And so, I decided with all these props lying around, I'd add a Comical Cowboy character to my act.
In search of resources via the Internet, I found a whole world of Cowboy Clowns and Children's Entertainers with Western themed acts. This inspired me to start a Yahoo Discussion Group to support the Comedy Western Arts. The RED NOSE RANCH went Online in August of 2004. As RNR Membership grew, I built the "Official" RED NOSE RANCH website to list RNR members and links to their sites.
RNR Membership is FREE and Open to anyone having a Western themed act of a Comical nature as well as any newcomers to the business with an interest in building a Comical Western style character. Our membership consists of a variety of entertainers from Clowns, to Magicians, Musicians, TrickRopers, Puppeteers etc. all full-time/part-time and amateur ranking.
